How Can You Tell Christmas Is Coming?

The Christmas season is upon us once again, but how do we know for sure? You can't tell by looking at the ground, because there is STILL green grass. You can't tell by looking at other people because EVERYONE is complaining about being busy and blah blah blah.

So today I have three sure fire ways to tell that the Christmas Season is around the corner. The first, anyone in College or University is up to their eyeballs in work and is hating every minute of it. The second, the Christmas parade was on Saturday and we told thousands of people to have a "Merry Christmas". (Ps - American Thanksgiving as well but we do not count that up here in God's Country.) The Third, is very simple...we plugged in the Christmas lights that have been hanging since last Christmas!!

So Let me be the first to wish you a ho ho ho and a

The Moment You've All Been Waiting For!

Presenting the new and improved.....Pink and Carey Hart!!
We had sooo much fun getting ready for the costume party at Central. Everybody had to look twice to figure out who we were when we walked in!
Well, if you want to know what started this whole idea of dressing up like Carey and Pink then.....we love to watch the show "Inked" on TLC. For those of you who dont know....Carey is part owner of the tattoo shop Hart and Huntington which is featured on Inked. Pink and Carey just got married in August...like us. So when we found the pink wig and the tattoo sleeves...these two celebs immediately came to mind.
Yes, thats my handy work on that shirt of Joel's...we threw that together about a half hour before the party....nothing like waiting to the last minute!

First Married Halloween!!

Well we had our first Halloween together as a married couple, we did not exactly spend it dressed up and handing out candy to all the eager kids knocking on our door.

Kia decided to work an evening shift so she was not home at all during the evening. So with her decision to work, I decided to spend my evening at the college working on a paper that is due in a couple weeks. So when I left the house I put a evil face on the door, and put these pumpkins on our door step to guard our apartment. Well maybe the evil face part was a lie but those are our pumpkins and they did guard our apartment.

But to create suspense within all those who read our blog, we did dress up for the The Rock Youth Group party and there will be pictures to follow soon!

Who ever can guess which pumpkin is Kia's and which one is mine will win a fabulous prize! This prize will be so great that it is to hard to even imagine!! So thank you for reading about our first Halloween that did not even really happen. But please take a guess at the pumpkins and come back and see and read about our costume fun night with The Rock Youth Group.
